Jalebi

  • Plain Flour - 100 gm

  • Gram Flour - 2 tbsp

  • Sugar - 100 gm

  • Saffron - A pinch

  • Kewra essence - Few drops

  • Ghee - For deep fry

  • Pistachio - 10,12 (cut into small pieces)

  1. Take 50 gm plain flour and gram flour together to make a batter using warm water. Keep aside for at least 24 hours for fermentation.

  2. After 24 hours,add the remaining flour and some more warm water to make a thick batter. Keep aside.

  3. In pan add sugar and 1/2 cup of water to make one string sugar syrup. Add saffron and kewra essence.

  4. Use an easy-squeeze sauce bottle with nozzle.Fill the bottle with batter and close with nozzle lid

  5. Heat ghee in a frying pan. Make Jalebi in the form of concentric circle. Fry till crisp and golden color, then drop into syrup. After 2 minutes, drain it.

  6. Decorates with pistachio and serve hot
